So they Travis Hamonic’d themselves and traded for a contract instead of a a player.
(They did the same thing with Hjalmarsson for Murphy - proving yet again that scared money don’t make money)
They had Artemi Panarin. If they had to move an extra couple million here or there in two years, they should’ve done that. They should’ve figured it out.
But they didn’t, and now none of the people involved in that decision remain with the organization.
