January looks grim though. Son heads to play for Korea, Bissouma and Sarr to AFCON and then Romero, Maddison, Bentancur, VDV, Solomon, Perisic, and Sessegnon are injured and I think none are expected back until closer to the end of the month or in February. Pretty clearly Levy needs to spend some money immediately and get some players in to keep this team competitive.
At least the crumbling of our neighbours is starting a little ahead of schedule, so it makes things a little brighter!

Yeah...this is always a clusterfata for the schedule. AFCON never helps. You're losing Son, we're losing Salah, lots of injuries.
Lots of injuries. Why are there lots of injuries? Schedule congestion. What should we do? Play more games.
Expand Europa League. Have Nations' League.
