Meh , in Ahl but made the playoffs more than a few times with a complete #### roster. His junior career playing was pretty good too

Mitch love on the other hand, continually was assist coach for Everett who in his time was always ranked top 3 (one year 5th) but never made it past the first round. Same story as head coach in Saskatoon. His only real success was last year with a very Stacked Wranglers .

Huskas resume is much better if you compare the 2.
People sure love twisting things on this forum. I said Love had more success coaching professionals, which is undeniably true.

And I never said Love was an amazing coach, I said he would have been a better hire than Huska since he has had success in a league much closer to the NHL than junior hockey.

Bringing up Huska's junior success and ignoring how bad he was in the AHL is disingenuous. How far back do we go? Perhaps Huska's wet noodle version of zone defense and perimeter shot offense work great in the WHL but not in professional hockey where skaters are faster and stronger and goalies are much better.

I and other posters have had specific complaints about Huska's style of play, and it is always met with "the players suck". Maybe his defenders should say what they think the team does well under him. I already said he had the PK clicking, but outside of that it's a hit mess, and I think the problems are not solely related to the skill of the players.

I think with a proper coach this team is battling for a playoff spot, not a huge stretch.

If you disagree take a look at Zadorov's recent comments about how much better the coaching is in Vancouver.
