The best guy right now is Coleman who shouldn't be around for a rebuild. Mangiapane? Nope, Dube, Nope. Shrangovich hell no. Hubredeau with how he is playing nope. Ruzicka, Pospisil, Greer nope.
The one argument right now would be Zary who Stankoven has outperformed at every level. But sure lets say Zary is ahead still not near enough there to block Stankoven from coming in and improving the team during a rebuild. The winger depth is not better than what he brings.

Phillips put up, what 76P in the AHL? That translated to 3P in 24 games against non-Flames opponents. Coronato also looks too good for the AHL, but he still looks very raw when he comes up. Stankoven is having similar production in the AHL to Mangiapane, and Dube when they were called up.
I haven't watched Stankoven nearly enough to know how his game would translate into the NHL level. Right now everything points to top a 6 potential, but I don't know if he'll be better than guys like Pelletier, or Coronato.
