You have to give to get, but if they aren't going to part with Holtz or Mercer (they certainly won't part with Nemec or Luke Hughes), then 19 year-old RW Lenni Hameenaho would make a good consolation prize in a 3-part package (I know, we should be getting centers).
Hameenaho, as well as fellow Finn Jesse Kiiskinen, were both flirting with the first-round in this past draft in many mocks- but Hameenaho ended up going to the Devils in the second round, and JK went to the Preds in the third. Hammy is currently the third highest scoring U-20 player in the Finnish Elite League, with 17 points (11 goals) in 26 games. Impressive, considering that his team (Assat) is 13th in a 15-team league in goals-scored- he is their second-leading scorer, and tops in goals by 4. He is 10th in goal-scoring for the entire league. In comparison, Kiiskinen has only 5 points in 27 games.
Hammy has an elite brain, a quality 200-ft game, stands 6'1", and has a wilingness to get his nose dirty. His skating has improved, but still needs work- but let's not forget that the same was said about our own Connor Zary. Reminds me a bit of Tyler Bertuzzi, but with better IQ.
