Yep, the Flames need a player to request a trade, sit on that player for a year and a half while certain fans go apoplectic for not dealing the asset sooner, then trade him to a team for a following year unprotected 1st round pick, then have the team they traded to bottom out and end up bottom 3. Then hope other teams below don't win the lottery and push them out of the top 3. Then they have to hope the player they pick is actually the best player in the draft.
It's so simple!
