Some managers are bitching about people electing to WFH because sick vs going into the office (hybrid). They insist people go on or they threaten they'll write up the employee.
Doctors notes do not work and the managers are morons. They can see the individual is sick as #### on the video call but still claim the individuals are taking advantage and manipulating the hybrid working schedule. You'd rather the individual take a sick day than WFH sick? Idiots.
I know quite a few people who are going in and coughing on their managers being dip####s about these rules. "Yes it's been 3 weeks and yes I'm still as sick as a dog! Here's proof COUGH COUGH COUGH!" They could take a sick day. But instead they'll WFH sick if they're responsible, or go to work sick without masks as a form of "#### you".
On a side note, has anyone noticed that this years cold/flu seems to be a little bit heavier in the fatigue and body pain symptoms?
