People not being into her broadcasting style isn't a knock on women. The NHL has a lot of great female broadcasters, and even if I didn't like her style, she did open up a door and deserved the opportunity as much as any ex-player.

Completely agree, you can dislike someone's style for whatever reason, and sometimes it just takes time.
