There was a Swaggy shot a few minutes back that really bothered me. Clear path to Reinhart in the backdoor, but decided to just loft one into the glove. Gotta get Markstrom moving..

Okay, I’ve recently become a Panthers fan and have been casually betting on games and I swear to #### every time I bet on them and tune in for a game they give up goals when they’re on the powerplay. Is this a common theme for them or are the instances of this happening just branded into my brain now?

When you line up these two team rosters side by side, the Panthers should not be 0-3 against the Flames since the Hubie trade.

This team has multiple problems actually. PP is the most glaring but missing assignments and other players taking Tkachuk’s lack of intensity as a guide to their own play is another. Tkachuk is contagious. This is very bad. If Tkachuk is THAT badly injured still, then go on LTIR you f***ing jerk. You helped the team last season but guess what? That was LAST season #######. Barkov also MUST step up his play even more. He’s got an A grade from the league right now but he’s not giving us wins over easier opposition. Not good enough.

The PP coach MUST BE FIRED TOMORROW. It’s not working so dump him. Flush him down the f***ing drain. Be gone, loser. Walk away. You don’t deserve an Uber.

Monty and Ek came back too early. Monty especially: you suck right now. Your scores against Boston in the playoffs were - you guessed it - LAST season. That’s history. 1st Intermission Update: Me and the 7 other cats fans out here are doing are best, but the flames guys are very loud. Lot of boos towards Tkachuky tonight, but overall things are going pretty well. Looking forward to the rest of the game!
2nd Intermission Update: Stolaaz making some nice saves in the last 7ish minutes, keeping his stick in his hands. No goals for anyone.

I just don't get it. We get rolled by the Bolts and the Kitty Cats and the Flames take both of them out. What a strange season it's been. Mind you, shouldn't be too much of a surprise, given what a #### show our goaltending has been.

Yep it's quite obvious. Playing in that dump of an arena against no real superstars is probably pretty hard for a lot of eastern teams to get the competitive juices flowing when you either see McDavid & Draisaitl are up next or had just played them.

Everyone wants to beat the teams with superstars. It'd be like going into Pittsburgh and playing Crosby and Malkin then going into Philly or Raleigh the next night.

Markstrom is also having an 'up' year and seems to be bailing them out this season. Meanwhile our goalie is letting 45 foot wristers beat him high glove.

We got rolled by a goalie. Tampa was trash. One of the most dominant games I've seen us play. We just had one of the 80s Fat Boyz Crushin in net to lose the gane

Our goalies f***ing suck. Campbell also had a rough game in the A tonight.

Our defensive coverage was particularly bad though.

Raantaa could be reclaimed. He may be sick of Brind'Amour in his grill 24/7.

Sometimes long time player coach-player relationships go sour after time.

Will Seattle pass on him though?

Shut it down early. The defensive lapses have creeped back into their game since the Chicago win. Should have started Pickard against the Hawks but guess they might have wanted to see him against a legitimate NHL team to gage if there's a miracle worker there. There's not unfortunately. This team is a 1A goaltender away from competing against apex teams in playoff series (among other adds, RD upgrade too ...).

The middle lines are ice cold. Worst stretch of play for Draisaitl with no shots and lines 2 and 3 only had 8 shots total. Really tough to break up the McDavid line which has been carrying this team but Swiss Army Hopkins likely needs to switch with Kane to bring some puck distribution ability to line 2. Maybe sprinkle a few McWinger shifts early in game to get Draisaitl skating and with shooting opportunities. Of course Brown has to get flushed out of top six and focus on PK support where his head is above water.

This team is in danger of sagging back to oblivion with this road trip before Christmas.
