At the point where he starts to go all glowy and Nathan shows up, I could swear I heard Peter say he'd absorbed all of Sylar's powers and as a result couldn't control them as there were too many of them for him to isolate.

As for the ending, is anyone else sad that it looks like Peter won't be back next year? He was my favourite Hero, aside from Hiro, and it sucks that he's (apparently) deader than Sylar. Not that I'll really be missing Nathan - much as I like Adrian Pasdar he never really became a character that I either loved or hated enough to care to see more of.

Altho if Sylar survived, who else is there that can stop him? Peter seemed to be the only one to have a chance at it, unless the flashes in his eyes that we saw before he "died" were of the powers he lost when Peter absorbed them somehow (I'm reaching here, I know). It was rather poetic tho to have the roach climbing over the sewer lid at the end of the show....
