But...being in shape isn't going to keep him from swinging at crap.pitches outside the zone over and over and over again, or keep him from getting picked off 2nd base to end the season when he's not even the lead runner.

Its a step in the right direction. Could have domino effect. If hes more focused off the field, probably means hes going to be more focused on the field
