I’d really like Washington to try and go for him. They are in denial with rebuilding, there’s no more Backstrom, so they can afford to pay Lindholm what he wants and gives them a good center with Ovechkin for the remainder of his career.

That's where I would love getting more assets for taking a guy like Kuznetsov back. I think he's looking for a way out of WSH, and would require a substantial sweetener to trade. I also think that there might be a small chance that he and Huberdeau click, but that wouldn't be the main reason for taking on a bad contract.
