I had passes to see "The Ex" today, and Sunridge Spectrum was a mass of people to see Shrek. I'm not sure how many theatres Shrek was being shown on, but at 3:25 they were announcing all showings of Shrek before 5pm were sold out.
(And "The Ex" was pretty bad. There were maybe 25 people in the theatre)
