Flames have only 1 prospect at world junior camps. Honzek for Slovakia.
Morin didn't get an invite for Canada. Lipinski didn't get an invite for USA. Suniev would have probably got consideration if Russia wasn't banned from IIHF tournaments. Ronni likely would have been a return player for Finland if he wasn't about to be on trial.
We got some lines from Slovakia camp today.

NHL drafted players on that roster:
LW/C Honzek - Flames - 2023 1st rnd 16th OA
LW/C Sykora - Rangers - 2022 2nd rnd 63rd OA
W/C Zlnka - Coyotes - 2022 7th rnd 204th OA
C/RW Petrovsky - Wild - 2022 6th rnd 185th OA
LW/C Pekarcik - Blues - 2023 3rd rnd 76th OA
RW Misiak - Blackhawks - 2023 2nd rnd 55th OA
RW Mesar - Canadiens - 2022 1st rnd 26th OA
C/RW Dvorsky - Blues - 2023 1st rnd 10th OA
LW/RW Ciernik - Flyers - 2023 4th rnd 120th OA
D Strbak - Sabres - 2023 2nd rnd 45th OA
G Gazan - Blackhawks - 2023 2nd rnd 35th OA
Honzek on a line with Repick and Mesar.
Mesar being the pick the Habs got from the Flames in the Toffoli trade. Repcik is undrafted, but is having a pretty good year. His 1.31 points per game would rank 12th in the QMJHL at the moment. He may be a candidate to be drafted in the 2024 draft after being skipped over in 2023.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Honzek on a line with Dvorsky at some point especially if the Slovaks are looking to load up a line with offense. Dvorsky has a high pedigree and his 1.70 points per game ranks 5th in the OHL at the moment.
Slovakia has a decent set of forwards on paper, biggest hole will probably be d-men especially with Simon Nemec not being released to play.
