I burned my hand in the kitchen a few months ago, so my family doctor kinda flipped out, contacted the brain clinic where I'd been discharged forever ago now, and they arranged for an occupational therapist home/kitchen assessment, and now every f'ing week I have to do bull#### exercises with a therapy assistant for an hour, after re-arranging my perfectly arranged kitchen so everything is in reach within the hip to shoulder range. And today I got to do exercises where I would pick coins off of a table and put them in a tupperware container to build muscles or something. Sliding them off the table into the container is apparently cheating. I am serious.

On the one hand I guess I'm fortunate I have a doctor/medical team that cares, but we're going backwards five years here. There are people who wait YEARS to have these assessments if they even can (I also found out you can self-refer), and I don't know why I was prioritized, but it's just plain wrong and unnecessary and a complete waist of resources. But I jump through the hoops for fear of being labeled an uncooperative patient or something.

I mean I burned my hand grabbing a put that came out of the oven. #### happens. Life is dangerous.
