The next NHL deal in Canada is going to be massive $$$$ regardless of what Rogers might be saying. The digital rights alone in this day and age are going to hold huge value. I wouldn't be surprised if more than just TSN and Rogers enters the bidding war. Amazon, Disney, Netflix, etc. You just know Bell wants to put all NHL games on Crave though or something like that.

Also, anyone who's a Flames fan in Canada but not in Alberta or Saskatchewan is going to want Rogers to win the national rights. Because they have them, they're able to do 40-50 Flames games national each year but without the rights, the maximum number of Flames games shown nationally would be something like 18-20 like it used to be in the TSN days.
