The Knights can make it work with Brayden Pachal/Ben Hutton eating minutes on the bottom pair, there’s no reason why Gilbert/Solo/Oesterle/Desimone can’t provide baseline NHL minutes if properly supported.

The game was a lot closer and better than the highlights. It wasn’t a tight checking game, but it was fun. Flames forechecked well and played hard, considering BTB. There was one fluke goal off Kadri, but Stephenson caught a lucky bounce on his goal as well when the puck came right back to him in a good position, off Gilbert’s leg.
