I agree at this point it’s on Huberdeau. I think the staff should stop babying him and just stick him on the 4th line to minimize his ice time while he tries to sort himself out. The guy is hurting the team when he’s out there, so having him on the ice less would be a good thing.
It’s an awful contract, but it’s being made worse by feeding Huberdeau minutes he doesn’t deserve. The team just needs to admit he’s probably a lost cause and park him somewhere where he’ll hurt the team the least.
