The Chiefs love Green. Or so Carl Peterson says. Its Herm that wants to get younger. Carl Peterson is just being cheap and trying to get something in return instead of just letting Trent go. He keeps saying that a starting QB is worth so much on trade. But the reality is Trent is 37 or 38 years old and his health is suspect after the hit he took in week 1 last season. Any team would be crazy to give up much to get him.
Personally I would like to see the Chiefs cut Green and Holmes. It would be nice to see the Chiefs start Croyle and go with youth at the QB position for once. But the fans in KC are fair weather. Peterson has allways kept the Chiefs fighting for a playoff spot his entire time in KC. If he doesn't, Arrowhead will be less than half full like it was in the late 70's and 80's.
