Gee, tell me you didn't listen to a word I said. Yeah the solution for being worried about not having enough money for both bills and Christmas is to put money away for a holiday.
I also recently applied for a job where I have the skills needed and years of experience. The job even said they'd accept work experience in lieu of the diploma or a degree. Would have been about 15K more per year. Didn't even get an interview. I'm sure many of you know the feeling where there is a job that's a perfect fit that you're qualified for and you don't even get a sniff.

Dude...I have been doing my best helping 2 accounting grads try and get jobs for the past ~6 months.
It. Is. Brutal.
Trying to get a job right now is straight-up brutal.
One kid looks like he's going to get hired pretty soon here but the other one didnt put in nearly as much work and he's going to have to keep trying.
But its hard out there in the job scene. So...keep your head up and keep trying.
