Some people like to gamble, and thats up to them. Vices are fine within certain parameters, and I am not a 'Football Guy.' I never have been, and dont pretend to be.
I've been to Stamps games and I cheer for them, but strictly because they're my local team.
I focus on Hockey, Soccer and Rugby.
But I'm also not much of a gambler. I dont know, it doesnt give me that enjoyment that some people seem to get out of it.
Which is also fine. Within limits.
I've put money on the Flames to win the Cup. Thats why they call people like me 'Dumb Money' because I make a bet based on emotional reasons rather than rational ones.
Its a big reason why I stray away from Flames players in hockey pools that I'm actually trying to win.
I've won hockey pools I think 3 times. Usually by betting on LA Kings and Chicago Blackhawks.
