So I'm guessing you dig Lacuna Coil. I have their latest CD and it's growing on me.
If you dig good female vocalists, give Tori Amos a try. Not metal of course, but she's a fantastic performer with a haunting voice. I'd recommend starting with her early stuff. Boys For Pele would be a great one to start with and then you can work in either direction chronologically if you like it.
I'd also recommend early Heart. Ann Wilson kicks ass.
