It’s never been just undefeated and you’re in. Plenty of mid majors have been screwed out. And tbh ACC is a mid major conference this year. Combine that with the eye test and the teams FSU has beaten and it’s pretty easy to see why they’re not in the playoff. Next year will be 12 teams so it won’t matter but FSU just wasn’t in the same league as the other teams who made it, regardless of being undefeated.
