I suppose that the third pairing will be an issue from now on with having Gilbert being the anchor on that pairing. When/IF the Flames trade Tanev and/or Hanifin, the defence is going to look like a bottom 5 defence.
Huska will probably have to split Andersson and Weegar up and have each of them be the anchor for their respective pairings. I guess if the Flames do move on from those two, the name of the game would be to not win, but that's going to be quite the interesting defence. I wonder if Huska then makes adjustments to the system and has the forwards hang back more in a defensive posture, and just becoming more of a counter-attacking team like Hartley's era.
