Honestly I can't imagine someone not being excited about signing Ohtani.
The dude is a unicorn and while I understand he would just be a hitter, he instantly adds a ton of power and production. Couple that with a solid pitching staff and better performance from Vladdy, and I don't see why they can't be a contender.
