Yeah Soto has only one year left. Time flies.
However, as I type this I just read a report where the Padres are asking for Michael King, Drew Thorpe, Jhony Brito and Randy Vasquez from the Yanks for Soto, so I guess we'll see what we see. That is a HUGE asking price.
