Interesting development if Kylington does return. May add another bit of context in the Zadorov trade in terms of why gaining the cap space was prioritized.
As long as the cap space is going to be used for some benefit… whether it is for Kylington or to make it so they can take back salary in potential Lindholm, Hanifin or Tanev trades to maximize the return in those trades. What would be frustrating is if it comes out that ownership did not want to retain salary on a player that is not on the team… just to save money.
