Through Kyoto, we have agreed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by a huge fraction (>20%) from current levels, for the 5-year period beginning in approximately 7 months. Research like this WILL NOT do a damn thing to help Canada meet its Kyoto commitments, because regardless of how clean it is, we can't implement it in time, or on a large enough scale, to actually have it make a dent.

Still, there are people out there whose only concern seems to be that we meet our Kyoto commitments. In the grand scheme of things, research like this is far more important to reducing emissions than any carbon credit purchase from a tin-pot dictatorship, but the Kyoto kultists don't care about that...they just want wealth re-distribution.

THOSE are the enviro-loonies I'm talking about.
