Danny Nelson- much more reasonable target. Not bad stats, big boy. I'd take a look. The real prize is the 1st and hopefully you get it with no conditions.
IMO Hanifin does not make the islanders an instant contender. Risky for them to trade the 1st.

Brock Nelson is a good player but also 32 years old and $6M for a couple years. I think he fits their window so they keep him at that price. And he doesn't add much for the Flames.
