Replacement level is the level at which a player could be replaced by a player in the AHL and the team should see no drop-off in contribution to goals and wins.
As I said, he’s put himself in a position where he’s playing himself off the team. Every single forward on the team is outplaying him by some metric. “He doesn’t make a lot and he was free” doesn’t justify him keeping his spot over a call-up.

Caved in when he's on the ice. I wish all of our team would get "caved in" when they're on the ice, and look at the stat sheet and find out that they've outscored their opponents while they've been on the ice. That's...sort of the only way to win games.
