Making their new iterations of classic films politically-motivated, ultra-progressive and diverse and trying to distance themselves from the original films that depicted different cultural attitudes is just eroding away the whole point of going to the movies. Okay, well the past Disney movies were awesome for white, straight, able-bodied people, yeah, but it's hard to find fault in instilling in young kids normalization of diversity.
