The thing is set plays and being more prescriptive can also help with the confidence side of things.
They are clearly lacking confidence and creativity right now on the PP...I'm not sure telling them "Move your feet more and play fast" is going to fix it.
I do think that potentially giving them a couple of plays to maybe help build confidence if something works wouldn't be a bad idea.
PPs work when players play with confidence and the plays they are trying to make become second nature, but when that's not happening sometimes you need to give them something to act as a spark.
