The worst thing that I think could have happened to the Panthers was last year when most expected them to tank after trading CMC and all out sell, they unexpectedly beat the Bucs and kept some other guys to finish out the season and conned themselves into thinking their 7-10 team could be a playoff team. Than they trade a pretty nice bit of assets to move up 8 places. Rather than use the picks from the CMC trade plus get more, they spend more with a depleted roster to be even worse this year.

The Colts are surprisingly 6-5 this year which likely makes Frank Reich look even worse given how terrible they were with him last year.
