Look at the GT from the Dallas game - great come-from-behind win against a good team, but the last couple hundred posts are almost entirely people arguing with Spurs. He got EXACTLY what he wanted from that.

You're probably right.
I've never blocked anyone in the 20 plus years of the site, but I certainly don't have to dig in with someone with a clear agenda and provide them the fuel for their silliness.
