No waranty on it now, went to the Sony store and they told me send it to Richmond, BC and it'll cost me minimum of $100.

The problem with it? it turns on and than just freezes, for awhile it would advance to my game but now it doesnt advance to my main screen or anything, just dark screen. I had take out the battery to just turn it off.

Can anyone help me with this? or know anyone who can? I dont want to send to get repaired for over $100, id rather just get a new one.

All the help and suggestion will be much appreciated.

Thanks
My PSP freezes occasionally as well . . . . . I just pop the battery out for a second, throw it back in and let it start up again . . . . no sweat.

Assuming you are normal and have no idea how to fix a Sony PSP on your own and assuming your problem isn't as easy to fix as what I outlined above . . . . . then sure, send it in and get it fixed if it's a $100 problem.
