Survivor Series/Wargames
Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Shotzi and Charlotte Flair defeat Damage Control
Ok, I thought this match was going to be later in the card. But I guess its job was to pump up the crowd. While it was a well executed match with a lot of big and damaging moves, and there was a micro story line that is going to lead to the unfair ejection of Bayley. I have to admit that I was disappointment in the end that once again we saw Backy, Charlotte and Bianca making Damage Control looking like dofuses leaving Bayley to try to survive a nasty 4 v 1 beatdown. Part of me is just kind of tired of Becky and Charlotte, and while I think Bianca is amazing, she's kinda like a slice of white toast, she's just not grabbing my imagination anymore. I think people forget that Baylay is the queen of in ring psychology and even though she plays a annoying heel, this match gained a lot of sympathy for her as time and again she rescued her team mates. I really thought that Damage Cntrl needed this win more then a one off amalgamation team.

The Miz vs Gunther.
Ok yes, Gunther is an amazing wrestling cyborg, but it seems like he struggles a little bit with the little details and sometimes selling or forgetting where he is in the ring. For example his selling of the Skull Crushing finale was really ugly. He went into the exposed turnbuckle gingerly and it just looked weak. at one point he got lost a bit and went to climb up the to the corner without the turnbuckle pad before realizing that was wrong and went across the ring. I know little bitching points right. But overall, there is nothing that he can't do and nothing that he can't make look devastating. Is he a future world champion? Absolutely, but he needs to work on the little things and on the non wrestlng parts of the job. As for the Miz, I'm a rarity in that I've always liked him, and he does have a great wrestling story that could be told better. This almost felt like two things. For one he was the plucky underdog given no chance, but when he landed the skull crushing finale the crowd blew up and made the count. The other part is this just felt like a torch passing by an older Miz who's running out of time. Lately he's been pulling out a lot of different moves that he never used before. He pulled out a hurricarana and then lately a nifty satellite DDT. But in the end he was submitted. The other cool moment is that there were a couple of homages to Bret Hart, with Miz doing a pretty fair outside the ring corner figure 4, as well as replicating a Bret pinning scenario from a long past summer slam. This was a good match, not like an elite match, but a very good match
