He missed more high danger passes than he made (or they were flubbed). We only remember the goals, not the misses, as time goes by. When Monahan lost his mojo, the passes became flubs in the slot.
I don’t think he passed to too many stationary guys when they were going well.
Huberdeau had 40 assists last year, which was a brutal year for him. Gaudreau had the same number in 20-21 I think. It wasn’t all roses here.
