That's (in my mind) what made Gaudreau able to put up points with anyone when he was here in Calgary (I don't know what the deal is with him in Columbus though). Also when he played for BC. Up and down the lineup, he adapted his game to work with anyone. Slow players, fast players, passers, shooters... etc.


I am not slagging Huberdeau. I'm a big fan of him starting to the corner and find his game again!
I can’t agree with this at all. Gaudreau’s forte was the area pass - putting it where a guy (say, Wideman) was going to be. He did the same with Monahan - putting it to the slot where Monahan was going.
