I believe ING direct will allow a no income qualifier at 35% down.
there may be other FI's out there that will allow the same thing.
this way you dont need to confirm employment to qualify for the mortgage.
deal with a good mortgage broker to avoid any issues.
I know there are some good ones in calgary
