Maybe it rings true to you, but I doubt anyone when asked about what Xmas means to them would include boxing day blowouts at the brick and watching the World Junior golf medal game about a week later or so.

World Juniors has historically been a pretty big talking point/shared viewing event around Christmas for sure. I mean pepsifree just showed the numbers and they're higher than NFL viewership at Thanksgiving.
And the world juniors start on boxing day, the day after Christmas. So yes they are held in the same month. You're slivers friend though, right? You probably just hate hockey as much as he does and are projecting that?
