That’s not a cookie. A cookie has snap. It crunches and crumbles when you bite it. It’s not raw cookie dough shaped into a disk.
This is just the latest outrage. The trend of soft cookies has been gaining momentum for years. Most of the bakery cookies I get today have the texture of playdough. Presumably there’s a market for this infantile pap. If you’re one of the dolts who want their cookies to have the consistency of something a toothless invalid would eat in their dotage - WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?
This is just another step towards the dystopia of Idiocracy. How soon until people suck cookie dough straight of tubes jammed into their mouths while they watch Fast & Furious 23 on the VR box?

Soft cookies > hard cookies.
Hard cookies are the crap you buy in bags like Dad's, Peek Freans, etc. Garbage, factory-made, last 10 months-type cookies. I don't eat them; they're terrible.
A soft cookie is typically a fresh cookie.
I'm a cookie fanatic. Your take just blew me away. I had no idea people actually preferred hard cookies. I thought a hard cookie was the international sign of a basic-bitch cookie for those with undiscerning tastes.
