The facts of stumbling in drunk and having a substantial argument while his kids were hosting a sleepover do not seem to be in doubt. That alone meets my threshold to make my estimation of Milan Lucic as a man plummet, regardless of any court ruling. But I'm just a rando on the...I really struggle to see why anyone would feel the need to defend Lucic's presumption of innocence from internet randos, but to each their own.
A little tough of speculation I'd add is that the sleepover element significantly reduces the already very low odds of Mrs. Lucic making an unfounded/spiteful 911 call. Consciously or subconsciously I suspect the social judgment of dialing those three numbers would influence most people's threshold for making the call. Little Jimmy going home and telling his parents that "Mr. and Mrs. Lucic had a loud argument" is a lot different than "Mr. and Mrs. Lucic had a loud argument and the police came"
