Effectively, I don’t want more deals to look like the Sharongovich deal. I’d sooner them look like what we traditionally see when teams sell in-season.

They won’t be able to compete going the Sharangovich route so I’ll still take it over re-signing the UFAs. They are going to lose a top 6 centre, a#2 dman, a 2nd pairing dman, and a 4/5 guy. At best they’ll get 4/5 guys back and that d core will be a wreck and should keep them in the bottom unless they somehow hit a Forsberg for Erat type home run.
