I don't think Manchester City will face any penalties, as their revenues are through the roof. What makes this kind of thing tricky is that they've actually been caught and punished by UEFA for financial doping by way of inflating their sponsorship figures, which is extremely difficult to prove. Who are the Premier League to say that a completely unrelated company wish to sponsor Manchester City's bus for way more than would be fair market value? We're talking about a league that allowed an investment fund that is TOTALLY unrelated to the Saudi government to buy Newcastle.

Manchester City have been openly fraudulent since Day 1 and made no effort to hide it.
And why should they? Gordon Ramsey would kill to be able to cook as well as they do, those books...good luck ever getting access to the real ones, if they even exist. I mean...who cares? UEFA doesnt care. FIFA...as a 'rule-implementing body' is a laugh.
