After Bennett, zero NHL games played from Flames picks that year. However, I dont think every pick was a dud, some just didnt work out. The two second round picks were definitely questionable but I think Brandon Hickey as an early third rounder is fine. At this point now he's a career minor leaguer, but he was a decent prospect, and reality is you need dependable career minor league defensemen in your system.
