Why is it that we're pretty much the only continent where this is a thing? You go to Asia, Europe...no tipping. I've been to Japan twice this year, and the no tipping thing is a revelation.
Service and food quality have gone way down overall, but we're supposed to pay more for that? Get ####ed.
I used to love going out, but now I'd rather just buy a high quality cut of meat and make my own Old Fashioneds.
