They released that the same day as the debate (which is another completely stupid idea), and Smith just beat Notley over the head with it for an hour or two that evening. Somehow though, posters here are telling us that it's voters who are dumb and just don't see how brilliant the NDP is. It's really soemthing.

Sorry, are you suggesting that it's the NDP's fault that the UCP lied? If the people that voted for Smith and the UCP couldn't see through the blatant lies, which many of us pointed out during the election, then yes, it is on the gullibility of the voter.
Many conservatives here say that we need a provincial sales tax. If Notley campaigned on that would you respect it and vote NDP or fall for the political talking point from the UCP.
The NDP didn't run a good campaign and Notley was not good in the debate. But they sure as #### would be better at governing than the group of grifting, incompetent, pseudo-fascist liars that forms our current Provincial government.
