The point I’m making is that he isn’t paid to be awful or even mediocre. The attacks against his play are warranted due to his stature and how he fits into the salary cap structure. It may be unfair given where his confidence is but the league is a business and he needs to perform (even if it’s just for his own sake out of here)

I agree with pretty much everything you said, especially that he has to find a way to get through this. We (fans + club) are stuck with him, as he is with us, given the terms of the contract.
I never said that he should not be criticized or that the criticism is unfair--rather that it is pretty hard to even imagine having everything in your world suddenly make no sense.
Oh, and that the race to post snark every time Huberdeau touches the puck is rather pathetic.
Anyways, back to lurking.
