I respect there has been some really thoughtful posts and suggestions.
That said, IMO this is all on Huberdeau. Not the lines, the system, or the team mates.
At 10m it’s his job to create. Make things happen. Not the other way around where 20 others have to make things happen and he just gets the gravy. He’s not skating, he’s not good defensively, and he is not making plays. It’s not about ‘swagger’ it’s just work, in games. And he hasn’t done it.
The only thing that will fix him is him.
