Conroy was hired on May 23.
The Predators hired Brunette on May 31.
The Flames hired Huska on June 12.

Was Brunette even an option for Conroy? With that timeline, it seems likely that Brunette was already well into the hiring process with the Preds before Conroy was even on the job.
